Looks like the details on our forum is being discussed in many other forums. The reach is unbelievable. Skoda has to react fast and in a right manner.

With so many guests visiting TeamBHP we should make this thread and Harsish's original thread a permanent feature on the home page. There are many first time visitors and would find it difficult to browse through to read all this, maybe even with a small writeup against the two threads.

It is just that skoda treats its Indian customers pretty bad. Please read the below 2 mentioned press release by AP (The Associated Press | The essential global news network).

Quote:
The Czech manufacturer has Britain's happiest and most satisfied owners, according to a survey. Skoda took the top manufacturer's title and also had two cars in the top three individual models with the Superb second and Octavia third.
Quote:
Skoda has beaten motoring's elite to be voted the UK's number one car brand and British-built Jaguar XF became the most satisfying new car to own.
Why is skoda doing this ?

Hi Gentlemen ( this is my first post, apologise if there are any slip-ups ), just would like to share that after reading all above disscussion, I thank my stars for not buying a used Skoda Fabia couple of months back, instead bought a new Wagon R and have been enjoying since then. Skoda customer care dogdes calls and queries, mails to management bounce or are answered irresponsibly. Skoda India is shying away from problem. IMO the problem with all the complaints I believe is in the attitude of the Skoda Auto India and its dealers. Skoda needs to take care of this, or the reputation will be further hindered. Harish, hats of to you!

I'd definitely put Hyundai on the top of the list in terms of taking care of their customers. They are really good, their advisors are not out to loot consumers. In particular, their calls after any service to check whether they were upto the customer's expectations make them part of the top two from my personal experience.

Taking care of their customers, I give 10 out of 10 to Mitsubishi - at least in Chennai. So far been and being treated special. Me and my car...

IP Address. Of course, with restrictions : 500 employees from the same company / IP address accessing Team-BHP will see seen as ONE unique user (thus, the number could be larger). On the other hand, my accessing TBHP from home + work would make for two uniques

Tell you one more: Lady complains that her shoe heel broke due to the awkward pedal position in her Lexus. Toyota sends a Jap engineer to her house to take some measurements. New pedal design introduced across all Lexus models, and changed in all existing cars when they came in for services.

Unbelievable attention to detail. That's what makes Lexus the brand that it is today. Only 20 years old (young compared to big boys like Merc & BMW), yet outselling them in many a market.

It's not about free publicity at all; the car is up there because we do (still) love the vRS. Our tech team is trying to enable a shuffle just as on Team-BHP - The Definitive Indian Car Community - Home

Remember : NEVER get wheel balancing + alignment performed at the authorised service center. A specialist tyre shop (such as Saifees) is a far better option.

For lower life forms, would that not be a clear signal, "they STILL love it; they'll buy it"?

No ways I'd have the guts to buy a Skoda, in the way that things stand today. I see your point and as mentioned earlier, we are working on enabling the shuffle.
