Great scoop sid. I wish the headlamps were a bit more square though. The Endy should look like it was designed with only a ruler and a pencil... except the wheels That square design was what gave it oodles of appeal.

Looks like Kenwood is more successful in bundling their 2DIN touchscreens than the others. The new Cedia Sports also has a similar Kenwood unit. Overall, the Endeavour looks good but I still prefer the macho looks of the first one!

Few observations:
Pros:
1. Fresh looks
2. Touch screen on the centre console which also includes DVD player, GPS Navigation (functioning) and also acts as display for Reverse Camera.
3. Perforated Leather seats look and feel good.
4. Acres of legroom
5. VFM (Expected price is 18L Ex-showroom for top end 3.0, Auto, 4wd)
6. Smaller que of customer (Compared to Fortuner) hence quicker delivery.
7. Dashboard looks better (Compared to Fortuner).
8. Safety (4 Airbags and ABS with EBD).

Cons:
1. Last Row of seat still worst but better than Montero's
2. Rear leaf springs
3. Absence of Climate Control shocking and horrible AC knobs
4. 16 inch wheels disappointing. Could be 17 inch atleast if not 18.
5. Huge stepney cover increases the length of vehicle considerably (Will take time getting used to) and also prone to damage.
6. 4wd available only in top end 3.0 Auto model. If you want a 4wd with Manual transmission, have to go for Fortuner.
7. Costly Spares and Service.

Infractions: 0/1 (5)

They should still offer a 4x4 option with the manual transmission. It's too bad that they have removed this option. Clearly lack of foresight by Ford India.

The head lamps look good and dash looks much better than current one.
The second row seats looks like an mini sofa.
Its a big let down for many who thought leaf spring would be changed .
come on Ford change the leaf spring, this problem has been reported by all the customers of endeavour.

Get well soon,sid.

The interior looks great, unfortunately the took the manliness out by changing the front headlamps.

I would pick this over the fortuner ANY DAY.

Is there anyway that we can have Endy's rear suspension changed to a better one from some specialist?

These Prices are extremely competitive IMO.
Fortuner is gonna have a tough competition ahead thats for sure.
Ford should have really done something about the rear suspensions though.
