Siddhi Vinayak is the absolute north edge of this whole area that GTO is talking about. If you had gone even 1/2 a km further south you would have seen a few showrooms.

Heres an update:
CeeJay house now has the Jaguar Showroom functional,
Atria has a Mitsubishi Showroom in addition to the Rolls Royce that was there earlier.

Mercedes dealership Sanghi Motors has apparently closed down, or is closing down, as is Shaman Ford.

Would somebody be kind enough to show all the showrooms on google map and attach it here. just to give an idea to people who dont live in mumbai about the distances we are talking about.

Just saw two days back while driving to Worli that a Nissan showroom is coming up at the same place where the earlier VW-Presidential cars (opposite to the Old passport office) showroom was located.

No idea where the VW showroom has moved.

Aha! Right next to where the Arya Honda showroom used to be. Is that a jinxed spot? This is the 3rd brand I'm seeing there in 12 months.

There's going to be a VW showroom near Rabindra Natya Mandir, diagonally opposite the new Mahindra showroom, little northbound of Arya Honda if you know where that is. Its the same location where Shaman Ford till recently. No idea where Shaman Ford / Ford per se has moved though.

All the showroom moves are actually quite funny; almost like musical chairs in the last 6 months !! :-)

You can say that again. Smart move of the year was a new Honda dealer taking up the exact same property vacated by Ichibaan Honda (right after Worli naka). I'm pretty certain most customers don't even realise that the management has changed, while that spot is pretty famous as a Honda outlet; Ichibaan had opened up way back in '98 & sold Hondas there for a decade.

Shaman group has given up the Ford dealership and are now moving over to VW. The earlier VW guy who was also the Icchiban owner has now taken up the dealership for Nissan.

btw - on that note - any further info on that? was the earlier VW dealership 'terminated' or did he simply give it over to shift to nissan?

Now I can just imagine women shopping for cars here!

The routine might be similar to the the one noticed at Linking Road, Bandra. Women going into one shop after another, not able to decide on what to buy and so buying nothing of note. In the process towing along frustrated/bored boyfriend/husband and leaving fuming salesmen in their tracks.

Apologies ladies, but imagining this scene at all the above car showrooms had me laughing my head off. No offense.

Actually with the increasing choice in cars, I think a few guys I know might also act similarly.
