Skoda Superb Diesel & V6

Skoda has introduced the Superb V6 3.6 FSI today. Though the dealers don't have any details on the pricing. It comes with a 3.6 L engine developing 260bhp and 350NM of torque, 6 Speed DSG gearbox and it's a 4 wheel drive. It also has a lower height compared to the 1.8TSI and Diesel model due to the 139mm of Ground Clearance. Comes with a new color option, Platin Grey.

Can anyone here confirm about the pricing?

Thats an amazing price for a car which essentially gives you everything that the Audi A4 Quattro does. Brilliant, unbelievable pricing for a Quattro equipped car.

Yeah. Sounds very tempting indeed. But even if I had the money, I wouldn't buy it for the reasons being discussed in other threads. What a shame!

Superb V6 with plenty of power and torque, all the features and comforts, with a DSG gearbox and most importantly its a 4 wheel drive which would translate in perfect handling and ride.
Just perfect, that's what I want.

But, how does it compare to the Accord V6 which has 10 bhp more but no 4 wheel drive???

Still going to buy the accord. Maintaining the superb is going to be hell.
How many of those features are actually going to be used from office to work everyday by dad....

Add to it the thought of crooked dealers and negative company attitude. Plus heard a lot of cars failing very early into ownership.

Great pricing, great car, but for the sake of peace of mind, it's going to be the honda, sadly.

Am sure maintaining it would cost on the higher side.
But If one has to consider between Superb v6 and Accord V6 for sheer driving pleasure, performance, handling, ride. It's gonna be superb V6 taking the pie. Plus, it has the advantage of the superb 4 wheel drive. Now how many cars have a 4 wheel drive under 40 lakhs, except the Audi A4 3.2 V6 quattro. Can't think of anyother.

I have to say this again. Fantastic car gone waste, due to the company's misplaced pride. There's STILL time for them.
