And saying so, I would also appreciate the fact that Hondas, Toyotas and a host of other European cars have good safety ratings. I have seen palios banged up in head on collisions, one with a truck and having the passengers walk out virtually unscathed. But rarely have I seen a Maruti offer this kind of protection. A heavier car ( read a robustly built car) does have its merits.

Your choice of a Fusion+ was a good one. I would have bought a Fusion too if it was priced better.
Yes, palio is one finely Built car. I always felt safe inside that.
Maruti's are strict No-NO. Wagon-R and Baleno appear good looking at what fellow BHP ians write
I had a very plesant experience with palios and the TVS ASS.
My personal belief is that Fiat cars are for life. it is just that the company is behaving so strangely
In a fit of Impulsive behaviour, I sold the palio off. will regret that for a long time

Wake up for what? They ARE already selling Palio 1.6 Sports, which is nothing but GTX.

Wake up to start selling, to launch a website, to overhaul the countrywide dealerships and service center. Just having a great product is not enough.

Oh, I thought he was thinking "why isn't Fiat selling GTX?". Just wanted to clarify on that.

recently, fiat guys called me to ask about the performance of the car and my feedback of anuroop - when i told them about the website - they didn't seem to consider it that important - saying ..."you must understand, there are other issues..."

miles to go before i sleep -

Please look at the current Maruti Annual Report (got to seb...they have publisehd a feature on a person who got sandwitched between two large vehicles...in a Baleno...with his family... the Car was a writoff but he and his family members were able to come out of the car by opening the doors normally...the doors did not Jam and no one was hurt...

http://202.134.195.35/sb/annualrepor...ch=4&ct=8&sc=0

Not Saying that Baleno is the safest car on Road...but it is not made of designer paper either !!!
