Pardon my ignorance I thought A6 existed, & therefore, when I saw the black one parked outside the dept. store here in CPH last weekend I did not click any pics. Although I was telling my mate from a li'l distance that hey look there's an Audi A8. Only upon reaching the rear of the vehicle and seeing the A6 badge realised I wasn't right. It did occur to me that I haven't seen any Audi sedans so long in length (other than A8) & curvaceous but dismissed it thinking it to be my ignorance :Frustrati

Here are the photos from the press kit.

Isn't Audi using supercharging instead of turbos for current cars?

The LED treatment on the front of the car makes it look like it has tears in its eyes! Don't much care for it. Looks better on the A4 / TT / R8.

The front looks distinctive.Does anybody else think Audi is overdoing this LED teatment thing? It will soon lose its novelty value.

I agree.Looks killer on the a4 and the r8.Somehow it doesnt seem to blend well in this.Soon every modified car will get this just like BMW's corona rings(Angel eyes).I had seen many modded cars in Dubai with leds in their headlight assembly! Some had more than required!

Following their sister firm Audi, Skoda has also integrated LED's into their new Laura.

See near the Fog lamps in the attached file!

This looks more of a facelift than a new model. Guess Audi is giving all the cars the LED treatment.

this IS a facelift of the current model with a new supercharged 3.0 FSI engine (T in the TFSI is misleading-it stands for turbokompressor) producing 290 bhp replacing the 3.2 version.

rest all the 3 engines are same.

the LED lights are not a gimmick or just for style sake. they are the daytime running lights. DRLs. they are used in other countries. as they have to face with bad visibility. (bad weather). so its serious stuff. and they look so kewl :)

Yes in few of the countries in Europe it is mandatory to use lights even in the day time.

Yes that is true as it improves the visibility of the car to other cars and pedestrians.

little off topic from AUDI A6:
Few weeks back a cop had stopped my driver in Faridabad as he had his headlamps on in day time. The cop said it was illegal to keep headlamps on in daytimelol: . I don't think there is any law which says you cannot keep headlamps on in day time.

Our Cops hardly know anything about Law :Frustrati, what they know is how much they have paid to be on that post and how easily and fastly can he recover that from us. clap:
