That Dark Indigo Blue of Swift and Red shade is still the most popular shades of Swift in Europe and Australia, It's the white which rules our nation's Swifts.

Hell ! after reading this thread all i see is White cars everywhere. Its freaky. :-) This forum would be a good place for me to tell you guys about a funny experience

Once a friend of mine bought a Hyundai car from Pune. One of a chatty sales rep told her that in one month (June 07 i guess) they had booked 20 different hyundai cars for the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corp. (Thats in the otskirts of pune). And they were ALL WHITE. According to him it was a trend with that area.

I guess Indians are obsessed with The colour White.

There are probably as many "whites" as there are models of white car --- so don't rely on that touch-up matching being easy!

The one I always notice is Honda's white; I'm sure there must be at least twice as many layers of paint as a Maruti <Envy Smiley Here >, you can just feel the depth, even at a distance!

its all in your head.
for example if you grow long hair you notice people with long hair more often.
if u work out at a gym and take care of ur self well you will notice others who do the same more often.
and if ur overweight you notice other overweight people too

If you marry someone your own age, you only notice women of that age...

Errr...

Might be true when you are 20!

With really really no offense to anyone but mods these type of topics should not be allowed since it is all in the head and/or location and doesn't leave for much of a discussion.

Guys it isnt too complex why most are in white - 1. the Swift looks really good in white :-). 2. The DuPonts color popularity charts show the lighter colors are more popular in warmer countries and darker colors are more popular in cooler countries.
3. The same DuPont studies show that white, black and silver are still the most popular timeless colors for the past 8 years for which I was able to look at data.
I had put up a blog post around this but was stuck without more detailed data- as there is no way of figuring out the actual split by manufacturer unless you
get the manufacturer data which is not easy to come by. If we get it am sure we would find a tie between white, black and silver for the swifts. On my street itself we have mine (red) and also a blue, a silver and a black one.
