I was told a waiting period of two months for the petrol 1.2 just last week in Delhi. Wonder what the diesel would bring?

Come to Guwahati man for your Fiats. It's not far from your city. We used to go shopping to Siliguri for the Hondas till about a half year ago. Do give us a return visit.

45 to 60 days in Bangalore depending on the color for Asta. Magna and Asta (O) have slightly longer waiting periods.

Whatever it may be, it sure is off topic on this thread. Lets keep the discussion focused on the i20D guys.

Is this waiting period for Diesel? As far as I see, dealers have not even started taking bookings for the CRDI. What is the possibility of waiting period in this case?

If the I20D also has similar problem of i20P to cater to exports first and then local demand, it can be a potential lose your customer incase they price it competitive and cant deliver it fast enough.

Delays upto 2 months would be Okie if the car is priced well and anything beyond that call for trouble.

One more question to anybody who owns i20 or those who have information. Are the spares of i20 economical. The getz spares were relatively costly compared to Maruti/ tata/ Fiat spares.

Lets wait for the price i20d information/ confirmation though.

Great to know that Hyundai chose to retain similar trim for the diesel unlike Maruti for Ritz. Eagerly waiting to know the OTR price in Chennai. An i20 diesel is on my short list of cars I'm looking at
