they said its going to be launched next week!!!!
no prices out yet
he was invited for the launch as they would have test drive cars ready by then

i20 CRDi Asta: 8.3 Lakhs OTR Bangalore

Why think punto is VFM, Linea itself will be VFM when compared to this hatch

Me and Sanjeev were at Sharayu last Friday and asked them specifically for the diesel i20. We were told that the car will be out only be December - January. I specifically asked the salesguy if he was sure since the Punto diesel is out and that it could seriously dent i20 diesel's chances by December but the stuck to the december / january time frame.

I must add here that the salesguy was thoroughly dis interested in talking and dealing with us. I am still waiting for them to call me for the promised test drive of the i20.

Yes, but in what state of tune? There are two variants of the 1.4 diesel - one with 75 bhp and the other with 88 bhp.

By the way, this is the best of the Hyundai i20 sites I could find.

I have contacted Hyundai via toll free no, email, and am in touch with 2 dealers here in Kolkata. Until monday/tuesday they all denied any info of a i20 crdi launch.
