I got news from Advaith that i20 AT is coming by July end. Though he is not sure of the engine specs.

I 20 crdi coming in asta and asta (o) models, with the (o) pack consisting of side and curtain airbags and sunroof (in addition to ABS and dual airbags standard on both models).

feature wise, it is identical to petrol asta varients.

Excellent..90 BHP, 22.4KGM torque at 1750, curtain airbags etc. - finally a REAL hot Premium hatch !

Sunroof and side/curtain airbags? Wow! That's what I call loaded

Come on somebody please do a TD of this ASAP.

BTW any news of what variants are available on the petrol 1.4 (if one is being launched).

Somewhere i read, it is 90PS than 80PS and 7.85 OTR in Mumbai? Hyundai shouldn't do a blunder this time with the pricing. When it comes to Bangalore, it will go heads on with Fiesta Diesel.

hmmm now things are getting interesting!
hope now then dont mess up the the pricing
Cmon GTO, this test drive would be quite interesting and then a side by side comparison test between Grande Punto MJD E+ & i20 CRDi Asta

The site says 7.5 L OTR Mumbai for Asta (O). Sounds good. That's about 50K more then Emotion Pack MJD Punto's OTR Mumbai prices. Hyundai can easily command a 50K premium over Fiat in India.
