I think very decent pricing. The basic version i20 CRDI Magna will roughly equal the top end Punto MJD Emotion Pack. The difference in goodies offered can tilt the buyers from Punto MJD Emotion Pack to i20 CRDI Magna variant.

i hope the CRDi engine is 90bhp and a stonker...

the asta has the lowest premium over the petrol 1.2; however the Magna is a good buy if it has ABS as mentioned in the post
Hyundai made a smart call by adding up ABS in the magna version. Like i mentioned before, i have confirmed it from the hyundai dealer that magna has ABS.

Hyundai i20 Petrol AT

The CRDi prices are too disappointing for me. Asta onroad would be 8L at this price in Bangalore.

OMG the prices for i20 diesel will be around Rs.7.25L + OTR Mumbai. I am happy if i get my Getz Crdi for 5.8L

Not only is it right in Jazz territory (albeit with diesel), but along with it goes any hope I had of Getz Crdi having a reduced price.

On road price for Asta i20 crdi would be around 8.15 lacs. which is 85K more than Punto MJD emotion pack. The Punto looks even more VFM.

I feel if the i20 crdi is priced 25K lesser would have been perfect.

PS: its only my opinion. Please dont bash me up for this.

It seems they are spoilt by Jazz.

But it is still attractive for me considering the engine and the features on offer. It would be a hot hatch for sure!!

I think 80 K is a fair difference over the Punto. The 90 BHP engine should be amazing!

The Getz CRDi is the best VFM! Congrats, on the buy. Hopefully they will offer some discount on the i20 price if they are unable to deliver the Getz.

How ?
The punto top end comes with airbags, 15inch alloys, key less entry, height adjustable seats and so many more features.

"The difference....to i20 crdi magna variant"
This makes no sense at all.

The site doesn't show different features for the crdi. Are we sure of abs in the magna ?

OTR Mumbai i20 Crdi Magna - 7.25L , Asta - 7.99L & Asta (O) - 8.43 L. Where as Punto Emotion & Emotion PAck is 6.47L & 7.09L. I find these prices are exhorbitant & should have been atleast 75K less.

That's pathetic pricing. The i20 1.4 Asta AT(O) will be about 9 lacs OTR in Bangalore! Just about a lac less than ANHC AT with a much more powerful engine, paddle shifts and a straight H to boot.
