This concerns ANHC's bought from Apex Honda in Mumbai.

Apparently there is a problem of engine over heating from the cars majorly bought from Apex Honda. The Honda guys are looking into it and they might be visiting Apex Honda next week.

Anyone who has bought his ANHC from Apex here confirm ?

Also the face lifted Civic coming in Nov will have more ground clearance.

Hi, Is it possible to decribe the problem a bit more in detail ?, Is by default the engine gets over heated or after some drive ? Pardon me, i not able to understand the meaning over-heating

What is the relation between engine overheating and the dealership? They do not do any work on a new car's engine right?
It could be a certain batch maybe.

Thats surprising man... Is that Apex started building Inhouse component for ANHC

Obviously they sold cars with fake parts like Skoda and now the company has noticed :o

Orthey have probably put some dinitrol coating in the engine compartment perhaps ?

NC, if you state that the problem affects only cars from Apex Honda, that obviously points toward dealer malpractices with this dealer. Has he been swapping parts (a la Skoda)?

The difference between Honda & Skoda will be the manner in which Honda handles this case. Please keep us updated. I know for a fact that Honda can put a lot of heat on the dealer when things go wrong (my Ichibaan experience).

The news that I have from Honda is that - there are cases of engine over heating in Mumbai reported (they didn't give me the actual figures) and 90% of the time when this problem was reported - it was from Apex Honda. (Gasket issues were also mentioned which my trained ear picked up ;) )

Honda have taken note of this and their team will be visiting Apex Honda to sort out the issue.

It depends on the batch of cars that Apex may have picked up ( for New vehicles ). in that case it may as well be a case of bad luck if the entire allotment of cars is faulty.
If it pertains to cars brought to them for service, then a case similar to skoda may be true.
But remember Apex is a new dealer in mumbai, it has to dislodge both Linkway( Autohangar ) and Arya( Team Shaman ) to generate sales. IMHO they must be just as worried about this problem as Honda.
P.S. In my experience of 3 Hondas till date, overheating has never been as issue.
