BMW 5 Series for me too. It's a very good car - drives well, handles well, is comfortable, has good interiors and apart from the super ugly rear overhang, looks good. Mercs are way too common for me and if it's Audi, it has to have AWD.

Its the good ol' fashioned E class for me. It looks fantastic in white or black...Besides, unlike BMW and Audi, who are not yet ready to commit to the Indian market, Mercedes is. Not all people live in Mumbai and Delhi, so ASS is also very important...I wouldnt want my car to be trucked to Mumbai everytime something comes up...

Haha... GTO is back in the M5 lair. Welcome welcome.

I am not surprised that the 5-series has got 3/4th of the votes so far. Just goes to show that Indians want change and are willing to grab it. DCIL ... well will they ever wake up to this reality.

I hated the Audi interiors as well. How do mags go around giving it 5/5, 4.5/5 stars is something i can't fathom. But then again what are PR agents for. lol.

BMW... why do you have to take so long to be officially present here.. i dunno. Just increase the no. of sales outlets... spend a bit on advertising... watch those sales charts soar.

The 535d is my choice as well.. Imagine a 3.5 litre diesel with 272 horses and torque that can kill an M5 and a half? Monstrosity or insanity... someone at the tech dept at Munich really knows how to build an engine.

And for those Bangled looks? Well who cares. I-drive? A few days and you'll master it.

Just dump those run-flat tyres for some nice tubeless kinds. Then watch how your neighbour's E-class runs out of steam.

wait for the E350 to come around.the audi and bangled mw will be dispatched to kingdom come.also the 3-pointed star on the hood is more than enough for the bmw and audi rings.

Well I can see that many have chosen a Beemer over a Benz or an Audi
I have an E cLass but i have chosen a BMW too..
For one reason that beemer is a young persons car and faster machines in the same class ..
But the reason i bought the Benz was that BMW owners are ripped off when they take the cars for service ...
And also not everyone lives in Mumbai and Delhi ...
Will wait till BMW and AUDI come in full fleged before blowing loads of money on somethings that have any kind of speculation...
Something to think about ...
Wud you really blow 40L on a car whose back end is weak and not well established as BENZ ....
Think about it !!!!!!
