Porsche's coupe to hit INDIAN Roads

I have read a article saying that German's Porshe's sports coupe CAYMAN S will be launched early next year in INDIA after its international launch this November.

I was taken back on reading that its based on BOXTER series, have six cylinders, 3.4 litres, 295 BHP and can hit 0-100 in 5.4 seconds. The maximum speed is 275 kmph.

Any idea what would be pricing of this?

I'm guessing around 40-50 lakhs. It will kill the SLK350 if its styling is accepted. I personally love it.

It gotta be 50+ ... on road here would be atleast 60ish. Either ways the SLK350 will be killed, but Porsche india really needs to build up its dealer service and advertising act big time or all these attractive cars and prices will never be able to match upto MBIL.

Regardless of all the specs and styling etc. Do you guys think that Porsche will be able to make it big in the Indian market?

making it big is relative concept
Porsche doesn't mass produce its cars

By making it big, i meant will Porsche be able to make a decent profit from the Indian market relative to their investment.
