Very true, even when Vista was launched in august they said ABS/airbag model will come in 6 months. Now 6 months and no sign yet.

@harry10: I think Tatas lost a great opportunity to offer ABS/airbags with the Vista when it was launched. I hope they make amends now and also offer them as standard/optional on all variants of the Indigo Vista right from the word go.

Thats got to be the ugliest car in India. But I guess for the features and price they would sell it, it would probably sell well.

Wow! New grill design is tempting, bonnet appears to be stretched / straightened. Cant' wait to see the car without cover.

Airbag & ABS are tempting in Indigo Vista

TATA'a were planning to launch vista in Europe six months after the indian launch, however due to the economic slowdown they didn't progressed, and it delayed the vista with ABS and airbags

- So then will it be another FUGLY car with a dumpy raised butt and a mediocre (for its size and weight) 1.3 L MJT 75 BHP powerplant?

- Or perhaps, are we hoping against hope for a pleasant surprise - maybe an aesthetic shape after all under that camoflage black layers and the 90 BHP VGT variant of the MJT?

Hey everybody,
I came across a fairly nice rendering of the new Indigo in Indianautosblog.com

- the renderings are by Ashutosh Balwaria - a fairly nice job - the car (if these renderings are accurate) does not seem to be too bad after all ??

- Also I wonder from the Autocar spy pics whether the 'C' pillar rake will be more than what's been drawn by Ashutosh.

You would think that tata seems to have morphed the hatchback to the saloon with a greater deal of success then maruti did from the swift to the dzire.

@Rigid_Rotor

From the pic you posted it looks nice.But if tata decides to design the indigo vista as maruti dzire, then it will be more uglier than the dzire itself.
Well if the scoop pic is of new indigo vista, then we can wait and see them in flesh.Hope the sumo grande design team doesn't design this car!!
