great to finally have some proof that it does not have a center console (some people had already posted it here).

i guess they are 14 inchers.

the pattern seem to suggest that they are goodyear GP2.

Hope they launch it soon by Diwali.
People are buying the ugly dzire because there's no proper competition in this segment.

Hey - thanks - and also for having reminded the line from the "Fifth Element" - my favourite movie!!

Think it needed a huge grill becuase (a) it was sedan; (b) it has got the modified head-lamp cluster; (c) may be it was the diesel engine and wanted better cooling - look at the bottom part of the front bumper.

Good catch!

Going by the looks, it appears the high set boot from the old Indigo is set to continue. Just hope the boot is better integrated this time round.

the ugly dzire ... now that's great

Hope no one from maruti is reading this!!

But exactly what I was thinking

Secondly, it was only a couple of days back that I was thinking how it would be like driving the Indigo LWB - any one in Pune willing to take the risk and lending it to me?! - but they seemed to have a good product which they could have refined - saw the picture of the new sonata today (did not like it much - the first iteration reminded me of the cars in olden day pictures and James Bond movies!) - but think this is the third change in about 5 years?

prabhu, nice catch mate, surely as you said this is surely something to look at after their vista launch and surely tata would price it competetive with loads of space as usual USP of TATA along with some better quality as well.

Nice catch Prabhu.

It appears that the car is in the final phase of testing with wheel caps, antenna, etc. Let's hope they will launch it soon.

Nice catch, Prabhu. Looks like the boot is shorter almost like a CS which is a good thing, unlike the Indigo's big bu*t.

Good work prabhu!!! That takes excitement a notch higher. If only now we knew of exact launch date and maybe proper pictures of the car. Sigh!!!

the first thing you notice is the different grill (horizontal slants instead of the mesh grill).
And if you have keen eye, then you would see the changed headlamps. Indica has a slit like indicator which runs along the length of the headlamp in the upper half. In this, the indicator is located at the top corner of the tear drop shape.
Tiers seem to be of the same size as in Indica which is a shame.

Eagerly waiting to see this in its full glory!!

Yes it is indeed the Indigo Vista. I have seen this car in the FIAT factory where it will be manufactured. They had 15 cars ready from the pilot production batch. All were in Black color. It looked good in black. These cars were being sent to the TATA's place (oops forgot the exact name) for the final tick offs to kick start the commercial production. The production would start by end of September.

The car most probably would be launched by Diwali

we're all curious to know if Tata have messed up the looks or if they've done a good job. engine wise, expect the TDI version as well as the multijet engine. petrol being a fiat engine 1.4.
I reckon these are the 3 engine options.
