hello folks
what do u think about convertibles of indian cars being launched? Just imagine, Convertible version of Zen, M800 or Indica, what a car it will be! Right? What do u think?
Are there any such plans of Maruti or TATA?

m800 , zen and indica convertibles would plainly suck !! ... they dont have such plans either ..

altought i woundnt mind seeing the Autopsyche's magnum without a roof ..

would they suck????????? naaa I dont think so. I would love to see and drive them if they come.

because how many 4 door convertibles have you seen in your life and if you have did u like it ?

the very idea of converting such a car into a 2 dr and then to a convertible is absurd and impractical ..specially when the end result wont really look that appealing ..

forget the asthetic part
it won't make sence practically too

we get heavy rain. heavy summer & since considering size of cars you mentioned it must be a soft top & which will be a pain for owners
also it will be problematic security wise

also just try to picturise M800 open top standing next to you on signal

sure convertibles look cool but when given correct car, correct top at correct place

hey talking about convertibles there is a red esteem which is made a convertible.saw it a few months back at reclamation in the afternoon.never seen it after that.
the first time i saw it , the rear looked pretty good and when i got close i realized it was an esteem.

I've seen a open top TATA Safari.

My opinion..they'll suck....got very little hair left and don't want even that to vanish...Also imagine a 20km drive in a convertible in mumbai traffic...you'll look like you just came out of africa..yikes!!!

No plans from any india mfg yet....tell me do you seriously think there is a market for this in INDIA???

if u think thats funny you should see some govinda movie where he rides in an open contessa.....AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!! can u believe it and its obnoxious red in colour. i think its hero no 1 even paresh rawal drives it in the movie. i couldnt stop laughing and the guys next to me thot i was bonkers as the sceane was not funny....but the car was not lol: lol:

it also starred Raveena Tandon, Mahima Chaudhary something named as Dobara or like that

& BTW the open top safari looked BAD real BAD
