The national launch is happening today for sure.
Bangalore will have to wait another day , dont know the reason for that
I had checked with prerna motors on the launch and its on 18th in Bangy, no reasons given for the delay. Also the sales manager could not confirm when the vehicle will be available for TD. He said he'll get back in 15 mins with the update and its already been 24 hours with no update. He happens to be the corporate sales manager for our company and so much said and expected already..!! First let down?

I tried some things on the website... no pricing information yet. Check these pages:

Grande Punto
Though this has pricing of Linea.

Grande Punto
Same info as Linea but a shot of Punto.

Same website structure as Linea.

Launch is not too far but am running out of patience. Am surprised we havent had any pricing scoop here yet.

This must be the most anticipated car, even more than Linea!
By 2-3pm today we should be having the pricing info. Great if leaked before that!

If i remember correctly Linea ad was on news papers on the day after the launch, so i expect to see print ads tomorrow.

@serious_manic, good try there
the blue punto looks cool in the dealers page!

Chennai Launch Date

I got a call from VST Motors too inviting me for the launch of Fiat GP. I beleive, only a National launch at Delhi for the Grande Punto and no regional launch as done for Linea. VST Motors launch function is on the 19th June from 10.30 am.

Indeed, the blue punto snap looks really good in that page. I have at least 3 close friends who are waiting for the launch!

OT: I suppose 'dinner' means the main meal of the day. So one may even have dinner at breakfast. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, the blue Punto looks smashing. Even the alloys are looking good to me in that picture. Indian roads are suddenly going to look beautiful with this mini Maserati zipping around .

From zigwheels:
Petrol 1.4 - 0-100km/h in 14.2
Diesel 1.3 - 0-100km/h in 17.57

Not good, not good at all. Now lets see what GTO and other mags have to say.

I also think ADJ got one thing wrong, Punto does have a USB port, see here. Grande Punto
