Those alloys are yumm...

That's what i thought so, because it's a glass finishing and that can't be done with a paint. But still i was wondering how would it look if we get a good paint job done on top like that?

And yes the alloys are yummmmm. I still do not know if we can get that here or any other alloys similar?

The price seems to be a good one. Lets watch the war of hatches.

Waiting for GTO's review. His reviews and pictures puts a shame on most auto magazine's review.

I went to Automobile sterling in Noida, one of the dealers for Fiat at 5 PM, sadly they didn't had the car for display.
Reason given was that the car is in transit.
Come on Fiat, grow up with this mess, high time.

Moreover the salesguy refused to give the brouchers also for the punto. Reason, They haven't recd it as yet.
What rubbish.

Pricing

Hey, i'm a new fiat owner, and i'm really satisfied with the Linea. The Punto is truly aggressivly priced and Fiat India just Twittered prices to me (yup, they are web savy)

Fiat Grande punto variants and price

1.2L petrol active Rs3.99 lakhs
1.4L Petrol Dynamic Rs4.66 lakhs

1.4l petrol emotion Rs 5.06 lakhs
1.4L emotion pack – Rs 5.61 lakhs 1.3L diesel active -Rs4.85 lakhs

1.3L diesel dynamic – Rs5.16 lakhs
1.3L diesel emotion – Rs5.56 lakhs
1.3L diesel emotion pack – Rs6.11 lakhs

I'm supposing ex show room delhi ..... heck thats way way cheeper than the linea positioning !

    • Even the small light in the boot conveys the EL-CHEAPO feel
  • Rear leg room is NOT that great (just ok). If one pulls the front seats all the way back, then there is NO rear space. However in normal front seat positions, the real legroom space is JUST about ok. I feel that putting the rear seat another inch or two back could have addressed this -- as the boot space looks quite good
  • The rear headrest poke into the shoulder and need to be pulled up
  • The doors don't close with that reassuring THUD
  • The black/grey color scheme & quality is NOT that great. Doesn't convey feel of a premium hatch
  • The map pocket's on all doors are no good for anything
Cheers,
Same feel. Infact I saw the SDX, the hand brake levers, door finishes, interior plastics. I really felt bad. Doors dosn't give me a robust feel. when compared to my Sail.

Rear view tells me there is something missing. Quite plain.

Wow. This thread is on Fire. Anyways, with GP launch Getz, UVA and Swift would have the biggest challenge to sustain.

I like that FIAT has come up with so many options with GP that a person can choose the engine he likes. 3.99L Watch out.

Waiting for a detailed review !

The Grande Punto Test Drives are taking place tomorrow and day after. All publications should be out with their reviews by the weekend.
