WOW...
awesome pricing. Fiat's back with a bang. anyone has any idea they started Test Drives at Dealerships?
the only down side i can think off is TATA Servicing - but Fiat's taken care of that as well by reducing the frequency -
1st service 3k
2nd 15k
3rd 30k

15k difference... unheard of !!

Brilliant pricing! I cant believe that they managed to undercut the Swift. At this rate the Punto might even cannibalise Indica sales (if the Tata run showrooms allow that to happen).

Now if only Fiat could provide us with the 1.4 16V T-Jet turbocharged petrol engine (120PS @ 5000rpm, 0-100km/h in 8.9 seconds) to carry on the tradition of the Palio 1.6.

Punto's tagline is Be Bold.
Fiat for one has surely shown they are when it comes to pricing.

Called Concorde, Mumbai to check the OTR pricing for GP. "Sir, we do not have it, we'll let you know in a couple of days".

I loved the positioning vis-a-vis the Vista. Compare the 1.2lt version or the 1.3 diesel.
Tata-Fiat have a good thing going. Let's hope for the best. Here's a range of cars that a Tata Fiat Dealership shall have on Offer.

Hatchbacks Only

a. Nano (Hatchback styling only )
b. Indica Xeta and Diesel (V2)
c. Fiat Palio (might be phased out, not sure).
d. Indica Vista
e. Fiat Punto

Pretty much covers the whole spectrum

GP will be way ahead in terms of bells and whistles and engine power now. i20 has just that meagre kappa 1.2 engine which is the same from i10. I seriously dont think we can compare i20 and GP interms of enginepower and pricing. GP is going to fly on power and sales too

I thought of going for Chevy Spark, after seeing Punto pricing I am seriously considering Punto.
I booked test drive day before yesterday, waiting for their call

All the best FIAT and thanks for bringing Punto to India at an excellent price tag

Yes, I had registered and already received a mail from Wasan Motors yesterday itself. Only glitch was it had gone to my Spam mailbox. Therefore, went unnoticed.

Fiat finally launches one of my favourite car. I especially like the GP in white with black/grey alloys.

Anybody to second that ?

Pricing is Awesome. What about specs and feature listing. Fiat India website is a laggard. Fiat India guys are incorrigible. It seems they never learn. One should hit the iron when it is hot.

The only thing fiat india has on its site is a challenge and a Test drive booking - Fiat Punto
