Received a call from Bimal Auto today confirming the NGV launch at The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore on Friday, 24th July.

Spot on - for most ppl it should be a straight fight between the Fortuner and GV - IMO the target audience for CRV is more urban, Ford Endeavour would also be there in the mix - however personally speaking Im not impressed with the facelift at all.

Would like to see if anyone is planning to test drive the new GV yet.

Went to Pratham Motors again today. Unfortunately no vehicle as yet

White GV parked in Pratham Motors , looks good in flesh . Got the number for test drive , will try to do it sometime during the week .

if i had the cash i would go out and buy one

this is very vfm. now i think. you get all the features of 4X4. its powerful and looks slightly better than before. 17" alloys new interior design etc.

Why the hell are they putting "new front grill" in the advertisement? Is it seriously a selling point? Are we going to be bowled over by it? I found this very lame.

Car looks good from outside, will go check interior quality and fit and finish soon.

It would be great if one of the existing GV owners (samurai, sudev) can comment on the quality of interiors of new GV.

I haven't seen the new one, and probably won't have a chance for a long time since I live away from the cities.

Got to see the new GV close up . White color with light beige interiors , feels much better , taller with 17 inch wheels. The guy promised me a test drive this saturday . Its 20.6 lakhs OTR bangalore .

Are you sure it was beige interiors? Pics on the website show black/dark gray interiors. Even the story in the ACI reports that the interior is unchanged.

Yes 100% light beige interiors I saw it myself . He said some dark colors ( except black) might get black interiors .
