New Mitsubishi Cedia Sports Launched at 9.9L

Looks like Mitsubishi have upgraded the Cedia sports further. Just got news that the new variant now comes with a revised grill, Ralliart stickers, Double DIN touchscreen HU with Sat nav India maps loaded, new leather upholstery with the stitching visible and the same MOMO steering and OZ alloys.

The best part is the new sticker price of 9.90L which is down by 30K. This is more important to Karnataka people as the ex-showroom below 10L means the road tax drops from 17% to 12%. So effectively the price will be down by 80K or so.

Awesome deal IMO and very very close to the ANHC with loads of goodies now.

I have asked for more details and should be receiving it soon. Will post it up along with pics.

I hope this car finds success. Its quite a good car that is good combination of almost all aspects and involving to drive too. The price is very near to G3HC, I hope they take out the screen and again put in the car a bit cheaper as another variant. This would hit G3HC, not much, but those who cannot afford Civic would go for Cedia rather than G3HC. The percentage will be small, but good nevertheless. A fantastic car that never took off.

nice... but do whatever they can this wont sell... even if they launch it at ANHC's price. Its an enthusiast favourite, the layman hardly knows about it.

Probably the new pricing and driving challenge will give some boost to CEDIA

Cedia has always be a super car to drive. Crisp steering, good ride and handling coupled with 4.9 M turning radius make it a joy to throw it around...

IIRC, today's ToI has a pic of that - last page of the mag or main section (dont remember which one). If that's the one, then YES ! Looks so much better than the prev version.

@Vid, do you have an option now ?

Its the new mitsubishi lancer that can ramp up Mitsui India's sales. Facelifted versions of cedia wont sell. Its an excellent car but very few people know about it. The buyers guide in Top Gear india this month reported it as the most underrated car in India. They also reported that a facelifted version is around the corner..

Why isnt the new lancer comming up
