Sundaram's sales ad in TOI for Fiat cars!

Hi Guys

It was good to FINALLY see an ad for Fiat cars (Palio and Petra) in this morning's edition of Times of India. Even though this was put by a dealer (Sundaram), this is encouraging and things may be looking up for fiat. It has been a while since we saw any press ad for Fiat cars. It would be fantastic though to see ads coming directly from Fiat.

Rgds

Not another FIAT thread!!

Has it really got to the point that an ad coming in the newspaper is reason for celebration and opening up a new thread on it!!!

Please preserve a cutout of the ad. You will never know how many more years will go past before Fiat/Sundaram posts any other ad :-)

On the more serious note, there needs to be a total revamping of the brand image. It is a tall order for Fiat India, but definitely worth trying. It is good that they have realised that they should atleast put up an ad in the news paper.

I still feel Fiat India has long way to go, somehow they fail each time to learn from mistakes. sometime back they launched Adventure Sport and Palio 1.6 Sport....has any one seen any ad anywhere regarding this? Though newspapers and magazines did a lot of coverage and Fiat could have gained from this mileage. Not sure if new chief is a help!

Whats the issue here? Why it cannot be discussed? If HYUNDAI ad about 5 seatbelts can be discussed..this can be too

Damn, this is what it has come down to. FIAT loyalists jump with joy at the slightest hint of revival. So much love makes me want to weep.

But seriously guys, the ad was put up by a dealer, not the company. The dealer in all possibility is smarter than the company, and is trying any which way to increase his sales. Is it really a case for celebration.

Ohh, and I really like FIAT products, but please....not another FIAT thread.

Rtech, I had suggested to moderators sometime back that, all misc Fiat threads be merged into a single thread, where people can post such stuff. May be it is still not too late to do that. Everyone should be happy with such arrangement.

Sundaram's ads have been coming quite regularly in the hindu (coimbatore). They promote fiat as well as their used car division on a regular basis.

I like Fiat for the cars it makes but as some have put it here, discussing just an ad in the paper is getting a little extreme !
A mighty "all things Fiat" thread might be good for us dont you reckon ?
Now I 'll wait for the next "Fiat CEO sneezed today" thread.......
