They were the same as the present ones. But not sure about minor differences

ABS is one of the main features of the asta. i wonder if they would remove it. But then, there is no ABS sticker on this car..

Cool so it is coming! I thought it would take time. So is it getting the Getz CRDi engine ? With all those safety features (like in the petrol version) and if there is a Getz CRDi engine in there, it would be arguably the best hatch in India.

No, it does not have the Getz's engine, the i20 comes with a 1.4L 90bhp motor.

The heat is on...

The hatch market in India is getting hotter by the day. Swift DDIS, Fiat Palio, Grande Punto, Indica Vista, Getz, Ritz, And now the i20 Diesel.
If Hyundai give it a 85-95 BHP engine and a 5.75-7.0 lac price tag, this car will rock....

Hmmm.. Maybe they dropped the ABS sticker considering there is enough on that hatch door already Seriously though ABS should be an option on the CRDI [fast or not].

Are you sure of that? If I'm not wrong, I think I read on a thread somewhere on TBHP of Mr.Lheem stating that they'd opt for a 74bhp diesel CRDI since they want to give India fuel economy rather than power. But if we do get the 90bhp motor, that its going to be accepted well. Good power considered diesel hatches in the country.. But somehow feels like 74 is what will make it, given the competition.
