Couldnt check this thread again yesterday, but yes, todays day has been made again

I am glued to this thread. Just 6 more days to launch

Why doesnt Hyundai launch i20 CRDI with AT ? Diesel is cheaper to run, helps on the running cost.

Anyway, i20 AT with 1.4 L is a very good bet.

I am so glad to hear about the 1.4 Petrol engine. And if the price differential is not much then I'm sure the car will do even better than its doing now. Goes without saying that the diesel version will sell well.

I am keen on the petrol. So fingers crossed...

Yeah, I did TD i20 yesterday and feel the current 1.2 is definitely struggles with 4 adults seated. But one worry abt the 1.4 engine would the milage. I guess it would bring down the city milage of i20 below 10. I am eagerly looking forward for Diesel instead because of this.

But both the showroom guy and the service center guys didnt seem to be aware of the launch date but said some thing like next month!! Cant wait that long.

The models are now shown on the website. Prices for the new models can be seen if you select Delhi as the city, but not if you select any other city. IMO, the difference between the 1.2L and 1.4L petrol models is quite steep. I wanted to buy a petrol with an AT. Now, I have to ponder over these numbers.

For Delhi,

Model Ex showroom prices (Rs)
i20 Magna 480200
i
20 Asta 560201
i20 Asta (O) 582200
i20 1.4 CRDi Magna 619800
i
20 1.4 CRDi Asta 683431
i
20 1.4 CRDi Asta (O) 720430
i20 1.4 Asta (A/T) PL 731130
i
20 1.4 Asta (O) (A/T) PL 772301
