Well my 2007 Xing has that gap. So by first generation, I guess you mean the Santro 1.0 l Zip and before.

Btw I noticed that the interiors have lots of silver, and the car is silver. So is it like the AC vents will painted red if you buy a red car? LOL! I hope not! This is just a coincidence. But the metal below the door panel will be the same colour as the exterior body. It is nothing new, as its so in my car as well

bimal auto agency in BLR sells a Bimal edition of the suzuki cars. I reckon this could be one such move by whatever hyundai dealership. Hyundai couldn't possibly sell a model with just paint jobs as upgrades.

OMG, this has to be the worst interior upgrade I have ever seen! Talk about putting lipstick on a pig. Not that the pig in question was bad looking in the first place.

I think this is just a measure to tackle Maruti's new launched Estilo. When the BS4 engine comes to Santro, they may go for a proper upgrade.

Amit, we have 2 Xing's in our family both 2006; one is XL and another is XO. The gap between the dash and gear box area is there in both. We also had Santro L2 (the inferior model to Santro DX), it had the gap too.

XO's black chrome grille looks better than the new grille finish.

I believe this is not exactly the new santro but some addons have been given to clear the stock so that they can roll out the new Santro .

No engine modifications have been done, Just cosmetic changes.
