Guys any clue about the New Santro which was supposed to be launched today ?
There is absolutely no news. Wondering what happened to all our all our desi paparazzi’s !!

No pics /spyshots yet or the updates are so boring that no one is interested.

Seen the new santro in the showroom today (GLS). sorry couldnt get any pics will try tomorrow.

The front grill has changed, much more chunkier. The sheet metal is the same has a double crease running on the top merging with the grill. The interiors are 2 tone biege and brown with i10 like seats. The interior refresh luks bright, the controls AC aircon are in brown theme.

Price not available but salesperson mentioned around 6K plus from existing model for top end variant.

Spoke to the dealer

Santro launch details
Almost no change
Same two variants continue (GL and GLS)
Beige interiors (two tone)
Rear parcel tray for GLS
Body colur grill for GLS
Fixed headrest front seats (similar to i10)
Engine continues with Euro III
Full wheel cover for GLS
No exterior changes (except for frong grill colour change)
Vehicles available in SR for display.
Its a very very minor change.

Website was down for a long time (from yesterday). Its still not updated.

I just checked, Hyundai website is down again. Will they launch today or not? Is it Sep 1st or sometime in December? This is getting funnier

Wouldnt it have looked better without silver finish for the A/C vents? The steering wheel has been changed too, right?

The single tone dashboard with the silver coloured ac vents looks tacky and cheap.
I dont think any one would go for it with no discounts, when i10 has a discount of 32k . (New Delhi)
i10 Magna 1.2 kappa comes to 3.7 OTR in Delhi (After all discounts)
Santro would be hardly 10k cheaper.

See this ;

This looks so much better.Compare without the woodfinish.

Exterior is nothing new but the interior..HOLY COW!

Did someone painted the console and the vents with silver brush? Or..I am at loss of words!

Yikes! Hyundai seems to be in self destruct mode these days! They want to sacrifice their single biggest hit. Frankly, I think Hyundai India is going to exist as a 100% EOU (Export Oriented Unit), with some leftover sales in India if its going to keep offering right products at wrong prices

Nothing but a sticker/plastic job on this "UPDATED" Santro.

Seems like Estilo will kill Santro in this price-band (despite it's ugly looks).

The dash board looks cheap with those silver AC vents. The seats are the only good addition on that santro.

I hope that this is not the car that Hyundai was supposed to release. Or is it relesed in a hurry?
