Cool !!!
Spark, Wagon-R, estilo...watch out!!!
Nice scoop SID. There seems to be a good number of changes in the new car. Looks like the Manufacturer is readying the Car a bit more cautiously this time.
Hope it does not get the mickey mouse treatment again.
i was just thinking when this would be happening.damn i came to know this today.my friend had just booked a santro and told it to be delivered for august(postponed delivery intentionally) due to some important timing during that month!!
Hmm hopefully it stays at the same price.
Is this another of the now famous " mid life upgrades " or a completely new model ?

I think this time they are doing the Goofy treatment. :D
Why a new one ? Santro is an oldie who is keeping his leg crossed for graveyard !
1) Same old chassis and old motor. Not a good thing.
2) Beige interiors or whatever they call is bad. I dont know why people love it, but I literally hate it. The service centers are going to earn more money by cleaning it. Nothing else.
3) This is just a cosmetic upgrade with revised looks and a few changes in suspension. Now about cosmetic upgrade, I hope they dont end up with a new copy and tasteless amalgam from various manufacturers.
If they call this car new, I think we had a new Maruti 800 in 1998. And we had a new Alto too.
4) Basically to sum it up, its just a cosmetic upgraded car with ECU retuned to meet E-4 norms. If this is accompanied with more than marginal cost increase, they are trying to cheat customers.
This is for the upcoming Euro-4 norms, isn't it? Good that they have also decided to refresh the cars.
We can, probably, expect similar upgrades/refresh on other cars of other manufacturers, around the same time I guess
What is the point of it when the i10 1.1 is available. They should just stop selling the Santro. Looks like the Maruti bug has bitten them.
I wish price will not be higher than current ones.
