What I meant was if they don't tune the F8D motor to meet Euro IV norms, they definitely can't sell the car in cities where Euro IV norms kick in. Hence the options available to Maruti are:-
1. Tune the F8D motor to meet E IV norms. (most likely)
2. Stop selling M800 and Omni in cities where E IV norms become applicable.
3. Scrap both the products altogether.

Someone mentioned on the forum that the Maruti 800 is going to get a new engine. That is defintely not going to be the case. The 800 is on it last leg. It's just a matter of time before they pull the plug.
