Request to spy photographers staying around pune area/ nashik area.

Mahindra Renault is testing 4 prototypes of sandero, fully camouflaged in pune near ARAI, also keep an eye on the vicinity of Mahindra Renault plant in nashik.

Any pics can be posted here.

The car is supposed to be launched in mid-2010.

Yup, I agree, I like the external appearance of the car, but i am not sure how it will look like in real (or flesh). Lets hope for the good.

Looks more or less like a Ford Fusion

They havent launched it yet and its aldready beggining to look dated.

So where should the photographers take positions ? I'm thinking Nasik phata, Chinchwad area, old mum-pune road, Ahmednagar road and of course the Mum-Pune Express way.

Gentlemen

Please keep this thread for Sandero spotting info only.

Thanks

Why are they testing the car? I'd like to be proven wrong, but with the way that Renault / Nissan are hit (In India & worldwide), I don't see another launch from them before 2011 / 2012.

Even if they do launch, the Logan experience (not the car but the spats and the fights) may well have resulted in Renault going way down the preferences of Indian buyers. As it is, the French are not known for making decent cars.

Don't know on the Indian launch of Sandero, but this second-generation Dacia Sandero hatchback is expected to quickly become the best-selling model for Renault's budget brand, overtaking the Duster!
