Any Idea about launch of Toyota Innova BS IV with intercooler

Dear Friends

After selling of my Ford Fiesta Duratorq,I'm planning to upgrade to Toyota Innova (V model).But I was just curious to know if any fellow Bhpian has any idea about the launch date of Innova BS IV as it would come with a inter cooler and slightly higher BHP.

All inputs and suggestions are welcome.

BH, sorry as dont know the exact dates but should be coming for sure as new norms getting applicable it should be getting launched with EuroIV applicable tuned engine, not sure with more BHP or not.

i suggest you wait a few months since euro 4 comes into effect by march next year. if at all a upgraded engine is launched it will be around that time.

No Mpower the current Innova does not have an intercooler as far as my knowledge is concerned.

Im waiting for this one too. I asked Toyota and they gave me the stock "we have no information" answer.

This is where our fellow bhpians info come in our use.I'm really proud to be part of this great forum.I was planning to buy the car soon if no concrete info comes up I'll go for it.

As far as Toyota guys are concerned they are never gonna give us the right info as these local dealers have got lots of bookings for the Innova and for the much awaited Fortuner as well.

BH77, i am sure diwali time the news for new innova with BSIV norms would be out or may be by year end, if you can wait till then do wait.

Nope! Innova doesn't come with an intercooler.

AutocarIndia once gave a snippet about Innova with intercooler, I guess it should be out around Diwali.

folks, I just booked my Innova, and did ask about the intercooler - the dealer answer was the usual - don't know.

They did not seem to have any information about BS IV.

in the absence of any information from Toyota, does anyone on T-BHP know if we can retrofit an intercooler to the Innova?

The current one has an intercooler. It was offered with the recent facelift. Pre facelift ones do not have one.

By march Innova BS IV will Launched for sure. However the BSIII will also co-exist
But no idea about the Intercooler & increase in BHP

Braveheart if you have not yet purchased the innova. May be you can wait till auto expo atleast.
As I feel Toyota will be launching something new.

Something is brewing in Toyota to replace innova or bring some other MUV along with Innova in the market.

If not desperate, you could wait for 3-4 months to get the clear picture.

And as they have to adhere to BS IV so definitely some changes are due.
