Slightly off from the current discussion, but I saw a red Swift in NOIDA recently with big in-yer-face crome wheels and Eagles F1s. The wheels were standing slightly proud of the wheelarches. It is in this trim that the intent of the designer shines through. But Indian manufacturers, driven by market realities no doubt, rob their cars of character in an attempt to cut costs. I was never an admirer of the Swift's butt, which I thought was the car's weakest point, but with the right wheels, that ceases to be a weak point. The transformation is even more dramatic than on a Baleno, which is saying somethng. Highly recommended to all Swift owners who are less than happy with the way their car looks.

Swift has a steering that lacks precision. Not a car where I would put my money

Actually Swift is a nice car. Just sit in a Esteem and then in a Swift you will feel yourself safer...
And it is becomign a hit in India right now. I agree it aint got lugage space. But car sure gets 4 safety rankings...

Likewise For Ikon is a hit but it lacks safety whereas Opel Corsa is much more safer car but it aint got sales and popullarity coz most of the people go on looks.

So in my opinion swift is a good car if u dont see the looks of the car.

Both are good cars in their own way. Maybe that is just the way I feel.

Maybe.. But the Getz will soon be known as a "ladies" or a "teenie (or tennis :P) boopers" car, now that Sania Mirza will be endorsing it !!

Here's the second one - I feel the same about the Getz.

PS: Thought it would look a whole lot better with Sania Mirza inside...

A true teeny bopper car then ... I don't know how apt Sania will be for the Getz. Santro maybe ... Preity Zinta in a Getz. Now that will be yummy.

I think Hyundai ppl should start sellign getz with this freebie listed below.. then getz will beat "You are the fuel" Swift.

"With every getz you get the oppurtunity to date Sania Mirza and play tennis with her "

Interstingly i read in one of the threads here that if you use a 87 Octane( Euro II) fuel in a Euro III car - it might damage the catalytic convertor or something in the engine in the long run.
