dude, its like the way they call pulsar the fastest when they know for sure the R1's abnd the 'busa's are around.
Why are they showing the Golf when VW is working on the Polo? there is definitely something else beneath that ad.

I doubt it's a VW ad. Does that not make it too obvious ?

Could be something else - a mag / a channel or a show.

Yep looks more like a Magazine / Tv show or an Event. Esp with the TIMES name on the top of the frame.

read "SURVIVAL OF THE FASTEST" on the rear windscreen of the car!

Does not seem to be a car advt,

If it were what is "Hustle" the new name for Polo in India? - unlikely.

As someone suggested it may just be a TV program.

Need to follow this one.

Indeed. That's one ad that reached a lot of people with little effort now, didn't it?

No, it's Times OOH. The company owning or leasing the outdoor advert display frame space, I suppose.

Certainly not a VW launch teaser. Probably a tele show as most have speculated.

well its nothing to do with VW, as the 'VW' logo on the hatch of the Golf is missing along with its name 'Golf'!

some graphic designer in the advert designing company randomly chose the golf because of its simple rear and easy to photoshop the 'VW' logo and 'Golf' name.

and of all the people on the airport, how many indians can identify with the car in the advert?

some of the fellow TBhp members couldnt identify the car as the correct model, so how you expect the people in the airport! For most of the people in the airport its just a car in the advert!

it might just be another reality show on the TV with the name 'Hustler', maybe a basketball show?

IIRC, the R32 V6 was NA, but the latest Golf VI sportiest version is a 2.0 ltr. 265 bhp one. I doubt that with the fuel quality and the issue they have faced in Fabia, they will have courage to launch the car without detuning the engine. Will surely not the fastest. We have Accord V6 to save us along with the Mercs and BMW. Lets forget the imports, but this is just too much speculation. Hope that it manages to survive because where will they place the hatch ?

Above Fabia they will hurt Octy and Laura. At that level there is Jetta. Where will this car be slotted ? The question that is running in my mind that whether this car is a CBU or not. May be its CKD or SKD.

with the rather stinky attitude that VW bombay has. i would not even buy anything off them. first skoda has *** issues in VW the sales are so screwed up i can imagine the service. i dont think any other car company is settled well besides honda and hyundai and toyota i guess. they are rooted and know how to sell a car and maintain them at normal prices. even though initial car prices are high not that other cars are cheaper the maintainence over the years and next to nothing. i doubt living here i will ever change these 3 brands. p.s. - i am using all 3 brands as of now.
