City Limouzines cheated investors

" City Limouzines offers a unique opportunity to common man to invest into it, by inviting him to partly fund purchase of vehicle of any kind. The company then supplements in the balance amount and productively employs the vehicle to generate returns. For the initial investment the investor has made, he/she gets assured and handsome monthly return for 60 months which is far beyond he would be able generate elsewhere. "

This is what the company advertised, and most people who preferred VRS, retired, unemployed, investment minded people invested money in city limo, and assured of monthly steady income for five years, but i heard in news that the company is closed and investors are waiting outside closed office to get answer for their investment.

company website: Welcome to City Limouzines India Ltd.

I got info that Hyderabad office is closed and chennai too, but dont know about others.

MODS: Please change the location of this topic if it is irrelevant in this place, since i dont know which is relevant place.

wow...this topic is already here, but i didnt get this in search, anyways Company CLOSED is latest news, by the way. auto enthusiasts dont believe in this scam, since we know how much return will an average limo or cab give, after deducting profit by the city limo, maintenance, taxes, EMI etc.

But normal public didnt know the real net behind this scam, people just paid money to get lumpsum returns every months for five years without calculating , how can they give us?. Also they fell prey to the ISO 9001 tag , which can be bought for just Rs.40,000/-

Most people had invested by borrowing from bank, finance etc.

What saddens me is, most BHPians in the above link have faith on this scheme.

I suspected as much, and advised my father not to go for such an 'investment'.

Saved by a whisker!
