Glovebox that can hold a laptop, slots for pens and visiting cards in glove box, one shot power windows, usb conn, blue5, illuminated driver information system, tachometer needle that turns red when you cross critical rpm, illuminated key hole ring... man, this car has got those bells and whistles!

GTO said there would be cross shopping within the same showroom. Cross shopping? Looks more like all sales tilting towards the T.

15 inchers with 185 profile standard across all varients. Now that's real value for money. Coupled with gas shocks, one can expect the best ride quality in the same league as innova(or even not better). Swift Dzire special edition coming soon..?

Check this out!!, the panel gap that was in indica, is not there anymore in the dash. This is obvious that TATA has started giving importance to fit and finish. Definitely good progress.

I don't understand why Manza engine seems to be in a better tune than Linea MJD. Linea is 86ps and Manza claims 90ps. Linea claims 203 @2500 and Tata claims 200 from 1750-3000. I do not know what torque Linea develops at 1750 - but looks like this engine is tuned for a little better performance by Tata. This will give it a definite performance edge against DeZire.

This car's got tremendous potential to shake up this segment!

all good signs so far

well not to sound cynical though, IMHO car would have looked more elegant, a stunner and a class above if it had dual color interiors in somewhat dark color on the lines of i20. beige interiors don't have a great look n feel unless they have that so called soft-touch feel of high quality leather and vinyls .

inspite of this, accolades to Ratan Tata for pushing the bar higher in this segment . INDIA SHINING

Once again a great scoop on team-bhp!

I must say the interiors and the specs look very very interesting in this segment.

I guess, not only the DZire but other cars < 10lakhs will be threatened by the Manza - Linea and Punto included. Fiat had better come up with really good differentiators other than exterior design and blue & me.

What are the major differentiators of Linea and Manza (feature wise)?
Alloys and Climate control?

Manza should be big; see how well the 15inch gels with the car!

yes, it is big. From the side profile, the back does looks like the old generation Honda Accord. But I am not sure if the car is as big as the old generation Accord
