"Manza" what does this mean. A random search on google pointed to wiki page in french and now I regret sleeping through french lessons in high school.

I absolutely love the new look steering wheel. A giant leap for TATA indeed.

Vijay, you are confused with Onroad price and Ex-showroom price. Onroad price for the Dezire LDI in Mumbai is 6.3Lacs ( As per Carwale.com) and Dezire ZDI (Topend) is 7.66 Lacs. As per the features listed out the Manza or Indigo Vista is a superior Sedan and a real VFM.

According to this link below

Manzo Emigration Records - Ancestry.co.uk

Manza is a variant of the word Manzo which was a nickname for someone resembling.... erm... an ox.

Somehow I think the name would be appropriate for this car.

But... if TML claims that the name is inspired by Japanese

Manzo - meaning of Manzo name

it means 10,000 fold strong third son....

P.S Don't flame me, I own an Indica...

That pic from autocar is from vista I think. Someone saw the test vehicles and confirmed that the console is on the driver-side.

"Manza" ... not a nice name. They could have done better.

Central Console picture is from Ignis story

Guys, the picture they have in article is the same that was provided with Indica Vista Ignis's scoop :-

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...to-engine.html

So they are certainly wrong about central console.

According to the report, it will come with 2 engines from the Linea. The dashboard will be similar to the Vista.
Expected price is 5.8L for base petrol and 7.4L for top end diesel, on road Mumbai.

The autocar article says.. projector headlamps are expected. That will be a first for this segment.

Projector lights are different from Projector look Lights. So lets hope that they have genuine projectors.

In childhood days while preparing to compete in kite flying, used to prepare 'Manza' thread by coating a thin mixture of crushed glass and natural additives on top of a thread available for the purpose.

Maybe TATA wants to used this Manza to cut loose competing kites?

@TeddyBear - Was thinking 5.8L was ex-showroom & not OTR. Thanks for clarifying. 5.8L OTR looks VFM.
