Is the name going to be "Tata Indigo Manza" or just Tata Manza ? The image still has Indigo on the number plate, hope they stick to just Tata Manza.

Ah! If only the chopped version by Comrade could be the real thing. It would have been just perfect!

A nice boot job. That central crease line of the Vista helped things a lot! Hope the lower versions come with nice wheelcaps that don't look as if they are about to fall off any moment!

It looks all set to take on the Dzire!

TATA has gone for function over form as is evident from their sacrificing better looks (as is evident from comparison of the normal with chopped) for more boot space.

And I don't think CS version of Indigo Vista i.e. Manza is gonna come. Why you ask?
Vista hatch: 3795mm
Vista sedan: 4500mm

Now, TATA would either have to chop off 500mm or they would have to add a boot with just 200mm to play with.

The same figures for Indica family:
Indica V2: 3660mm
Indigo: 4220mm
Indigo CS: 3988

Logically, it seems it's not gonna happen. But again, we are talking TATA here. Nano, Indica, Safari, etc. were all considered impossible.

A closer look indicates that Indigo plate has been photoshopped. Maybe, someone wanted to hide the moniker 'Manza'. Weird

Manza will be launched on 14th Oct.
The new Indigo Manza is expected to be priced starting at Rs 5.5 Lakhs for the base petrol to Rs 7.5 Lakhs for the top end diesel.

Wow, looks shockingly good.

Not only does it not spoiled by the addition of the boot as seen in old Indigo and Dzire, it actually manages to look better than the Vista on which it is based.

From the side profile it kinda reminds me of Fiat Petra.

I like the side profile more than the front profile. I feel the front profile suits a hatch back more than a sedan. Apart from that, the exterior is great. If the interior is also good, then TATA definitely have a winner in their hands.

But I am not sure if this is a good candidate for the export market. Indica might be better suited there. We'll see, won't we

If one looks at the slope of the bonnet from the front it almost reminds me of the NHC, cab-forward design. That design initially came out to most as pretty awkward looking after the OHC. However over a period of time people took to it and it was a major hit. Somehow I think Tatas are on the same path. Anyhow Tatas have been on record saying that one of the benchmarks for the current Manza is the NHC. I can see how much it has imbibed from the NHC.

+1 to what Zappo said.

I haven't exactly fallen in love with the front grille. Hope it kicks D'Zire's butt.

car is looking hotttt!!! I love it

Somehow I am not convinced that it is the real pic, especially after seeing the front grill. Is it different from the scoop pics posted in this thread?
