You know what, it actually looks like the New Honda City (second generation). Short front and longer boot.

Personally I did not think the New Honda City was a looker but it did well. Hope some of the similar magic rubs off the Manza as well

I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the interiors from images seen so far, Its easily among the best in its price band if not better.
But looking at how the meters have been integrated into the dashboard the driver side console is definitely an afterthought. The dashboard was designed with the center console in mind and the modification made at the last moment.

I think this would look great as a station wagon. I hope they consider a 'Marina' type variant of it.

I was one of the TATA customers when i had the TATA Indica Turbo doing the duty of a family car. When i bought that car, i only had 2 points to look for, lower investment (vitamin M issues) and a diesel car which can carry my family on long trips. The purpose was served really well. I had the car for a decent amount of time.
Then came the VISTA and made me look like an idiot with way beyond interior quality, quiter fiat engine, better interval of servicing(10k) and a far better looker at a really affordable price.TATA was improving all the time.
The thought of a sedan version of VISTA looked like a very good prospect.
IMO, the TATAs have given a very good product for majority of people who would like to own a sedan with the 2 points i already mentioned!
The boot/shape of the car is not very beautiful, but yes serves a purpose. Pricing is the key and i am sure TATAs will come up with a very competetive one.
Dzire's days are coming to an end IMO.
Great job TATA! Cheers!

I think the car looks quite good.
Do remember that the alternatives are the Logan and the Dzire, and this car definitely looks much better than both, and the interiors are different than the Vista's which is good for consumers paying more.
However, offering a darker set of interiors would look good. I am really in love with the Vista LE interiors.

TATA needs to seriously get some good designers for the cars manufactured in their plant... The manza looks ugly from all ends, IMO the Dzire looks better with good alloys and fat rubber

Damn! you are right. From that angle it does look a little weird.
The front is way to smaller than the rear. Either TATA has concluded that it is the age of ugly cars setting charts on fire or they do not have good designers. After all they want people to know whom they are competing with. Heck, a professional PS chap would also do.
Before I conclude anything for myself, I'd like to see it in real.

Actually, I was going through the TATA Motors site. They do have pages for all their cars in this format... www.cars.tatamotors.com/brand. So I guess this link for manza is probably just a cookup.

@ Sidindica : Any idea if this link is actually live ?
