Changing the boot shape might be little difficult. It involves changing of dies which is an expensive affair.

Good that they are finally taking note of the feedback and getting rid of the wiper and adding the boot release as standard.

All the price cut talk brings me to what Arcelor CEo said , and giving it a slight twist Renault is trying to sell Eau de Colone at the price of Perfume in India

Just got a call from the Mahindra-Renault dealer. They are offering to fit remote boot release at a cost of Rs.500. I rechecked, it is a company offer, not theirs. Will be getting the kit fitted tomorrow.

Does anyone here own a Logan 1.6?
I am planning to buy one and it would be great if someone could give some input on that.

What exactly is the problem with the current wiper setup? Is it the stalk or the wiper blades itself?

To be very frank, BOTH!
First of all, they're in wrong direction. Then ofcourse like everything of a Logan (well, most of it), they're ugly too.

Nice point there.
But those doesn't look ugly and unfortunately the car doesn't carry a blue and white propeller logo.
Another important thing is that the Beemers' wipers work magically well and doesn't cause any viewing problems. The newer/select Beemers comes with single wiper setup which does excellent job in keeping the windscreen clean.

'scuse me but the Renault also has a pantograph mech that pushes the blade into the corner similar to the merc/ bmw (they use a cam arrangement, more elegant but expensive). Which BMW other than the M1 uses a single wiper BTW?
