Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) and Renault, is likely to rationalise prices of its Logan sedan within eight months of its launch. This is the second time the company will be rejigging prices of the Logan

The Logan has suffered on account of slack demand and intense competition in the mid-size sedan segment. Sources say Mahindra Renault has formalised some of the rebates already available on the product. The mark down will mean different variants of the Logan will be cheaper by anywhere between Rs 30,000 and Rs 43,000. The price mark down will cover several metros like Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Kolkata.
There was a 60k discount on logan diesel last time when i checked with the dealer.

The price has come down for logan, though I am not sure with the exact diesel prices, the 1.4 GLX (petrol) is now for 5.16 lakhs (On road price in Hyderabad), where as last week it was 5.65 Lakhs.

Finally They have got it right.

I think the pricing should stay like this, Hurray offer or no offer.
They have got the pricing right this time.
I find it hard to believe they messed up during the launch.
If it was a tactic /gimmick to ask for more than a deserved price range at launch, than it is a tactic which falied. Well, the sales did not exactly soar.

If they keep this pricing as a regular then we can at least talk about soaring sales figures and graphs. Or is it too late?

So is there any future for logan?

What will be the answer from Mahindra for the existing customers?

Inspite of this price cut, I sincerely donot hope for any sales soar but it may decline if not otherwise

I guess they would have to service it as per the current agreement. Post that, one will have to get it serviced from "true-blue Renault" dealers.

With this price alternation, expect the resale of the Logoff to go for a toss.

And I would certainly be interested in buying one then. And yes, "PETE" it too.

Petes Box is available for the Logan. Makes the car quite quick, a report had come in OD.

It will be good for M &M to close shop for Logan. It's no sucess. No future, even if they reduce the price as sales network is also not good. Boxy look do not work at this price.
