The first Nissan and Porsche dealarships in Kerala

Marikar to set the first Nissan delar ship at Trivandrum , then at Cochin

Marikar is also in the pipe line for the Porsche delarship.

Having seen the plight of the Skoda dealership under Marikar, can only wonder how the same management would run something like a Porsche dealership!

The nissan showroom was almost complete the last time i went in that direction. Is it ready now? The porsche showroom is still a while away i think.

I heard that EVM will open Nissan showroom in Cochin and not others.

EVM has bagged the dealership for Nissan Dealership in Cochin, Porsche has been bagged with Marikar. Marikar has bagged the Nissan dealership rights at Trivandrum.

The last time i spoke with the Marikar people about 2months back, they said this was going to happen. Good they got it.

So now maybe we can have 4 dealers in one compound (Skoda, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Porsche) (BTW they currently run the Skoda and Mitsu dealerships in the same building)

Marikar also run the Enfield delarships , ofcourse (HM)

But still I wonder , then how come the skoda owners lost the trust ?

Kareem's is different buddy.Mr.Kareem had authorised HM service center .Its old Triumph workship at Pattom.They already changed the name to Kareem's.

Yes i know that. But Triumph is not there anymore. They've demolished the builiding and have merged the compound with Marikar.

Shiraz has taken the HM dealership (Amby and Mitsubishi) from Marikar, and like i said its in the process of being renamed.

Nissan has opened its new dealership in Cochin. They seem to be on a roll. More info below from their official press release

The dealership in Cochin also marks the automotive major’s ability to reach commercial coverage in more than 38% of the national territory. Currently, eight states of the country have Nissan dealerships.

In the process of establishing the Nissan Brand in India, NMIPL - in partnership with Hover Automotive India, its marketing, sales, after-sales service and dealer development arm - is rapidly preparing its dealer network structure to support the up-coming growth in the country.

This new dealership is located at Survey no 193/1, 193/2 & 193/9, INTU Junction, Village Maradu, Nettoor, Eranakaulam – 682040 and is directed by Mr. Sabu Johny (MD, EVM automobiles Pvt Ltd).

This facility is spread over 1941 square meters of serviceable area to cater to customer’s need of quick and better service. Customer can see, touch, and feel the product in a comfortable ambience. The line of vehicles offered by NMIPL is Nissan Teana and Nissan X-Trail. The company expected to close year 2009 with approximately 300 unit sales.
