Manza seems to be on fire here.

Unless 3 ppl are going to be in the back seat most of the time, I'd beg to differ and suggest the Dzire.

Have not driven or even seen the Manza yet, but simply if I were to speak based on the experience of primarily the suspension and other aspects between Swift and the Vista.

Well, not sure but Manza seeems to be taking over the crown from Indigo XL. If anyone remember Indigo XL was advertised as Indian Limo at the time of launch. Indigo XL is definitely the best one of the lot to be called best chauffeur driven diesel sedan in India till now.

How does the Fusion qualify as a sedan ?

Also I can see the majority voting for the Manza - I have not sat in a Manza to experience the back seat in it, that's why I have voted for the Mahindra Logan.

I would like to know how many of the people who have voted for the Manza have sat / experienced the Manza back seat before they have voted for it ? If they are voting after hearing/reading reviews I would not count that vote at least.

I have sat in all the cars except the Manza. The Logan for me offers the perfect balance between comfort, space and ride quality.

I think I would leave out the Fords (although Fusion is hardly a sedan) simply because they are purely driver's car and mostly come with hard suspension setups, negating the plush ride part.

Linea is not an entry level sedan at all.

Both Logan and Manza are ideally suited for the job.

Its a no brainer - undoubtedly its Manza.

And Linea in Entry Level Sedan ? You shud be kidding. You gonna upset the Linea owners.
+1 to that. What makes you consider the linea as an entry level sedan. If it is indeed so, then why are fiesta, verna even a mitsubushi diesel out of this survey!

I have not driven/seen manza yet. However I have driven/sat the earlier indigo xl. Man, if I sit in the back seat, it seems like a living room for sure. So why is there any poll required?

Ford Ikon 6.36L (TDCi)
Ford Fusion 7.59L (TDCi Base)
Mahindra Logan 6.83L (DLE)
Swift Dzire 6.33L (LDi)
Tata Manza 6.5L (Estimated; Base)
Fiat Linea 8.13L (Active)

Ikon - Rear not very comfortable

Fusion - Hello, you metioned Diesel SEDAN, so this is counted out

Logan - The Cheapest Most Comfortable Chauffeur Driven Car

Dzire - Rear Seat is decent, but ride is a bit bouncy.

Manza - Hello, is it out in the market? How many people who have voted for it have actually sat in the rear seat? Please just don't vote for the sake of it.

Linea - Its not an Entry level Diesel Sedan; Not Applicable.

The Unanimous Choice - Logan

well i dont know about comfort but Logan is by far the most chauffer driven diesel entry level sedan.
simply because i have seen most of them being employed as taxis. which obviously are chauffer driven.
and its cheap, how do i know, even indian airlines can afford it for the pick and drop of their more elite pilot crop.
the less elite cabin crew is herded in an indigo marina.

I have a question looking at the poll results,

Is the Linea back seat a better place to be than the Logan back seat ?

+1 Gautam.

Also, points that must be considered before voting, since the emphasis is on "Best Entry Level Chauffeur Driven Diesel Sedan":
  • Ingress & Egress
  • Seat Cushioning Comfort
  • Under Thigh Support
  • Seat Back Position
  • Shoulder Room
  • Legroom
  • Roof Height
  • Ride Quality
  • Suspension
  • Seat Width
