Check out Motoroids scoop images.

Scoop! Volkswagen Vento / Polo Sedan undisguised! - Motoroids.com

The burlapp car page has same images, my doubt is probably the Motoroids guys have mirrored the first image so it seems to be RHD whereas burlapp image has LHD!!!
Is this from the Chakan facility by any chance?! I see a Golf in the background in the first pic.

This isn't the Chakan facility because the Vento pictured here is LHD,and the car in the background is not a Golf but a Tiguan,as mentioned before.

Not sure about other, but I am getting reminded of the Logan for its bland looks and SX4 for its raised boot.

Nothing impressive, but hey when something is derived out of Polo one cant expect too much of a Fashion statement from it, but the launch dates seem too good to be true. How can the launch be so soon.

VW sure seems to be in a hurry of things, hope they dont end up messing things up like the Polo deliveries.

the polo already faces a waiting period stretching into months, would it be wise to come out with another volumes product?.Even if production could handle it,i am not sure delearships, after sales, sales personnel will be up for the job.

Looks like a test mule, again disguised as a fiesta. Good catch.
MH 14 Manufacturer plates match those seen earlier. Shape of the external rear view mirrors coincide as well. Disjoint at the headlamp cluster area where the cut lines wont match.

Anyone notice the external antenna is at the front on the mules?( see the pics of the white one caught testing earlier as well ~ http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/1550153-post1.html)

Though in the rear 3/4 pics you can see that the antenna stub is there at the rear as well. Must've been moved from there as part of the disguise.

On the secretnewcars version, the antenna is at the back.

In the Burlappcar scoop, the front part looks the same as Polo Hatchback (or very little change) and the Boot looks like Ford Fiesta's (except perhaps the tail lamps)... But I liked what I saw inside - the AT lever part. Though the glossy shade on the dashboard is a putoff!

Why didnt VW adopt their trademark (and rather stunning) twin LEd tail lamps as found on the Jetta and Passat? They would have helped somewhat as the styling overall is too plain.

If noticed closely, the headlamps of European Polos have twin circular elements on each side while the Indian ones get a single rectangular one. The image pictured above shows the type on the Indian version. Sounds interesting.

The taillights you are talking about are being phased out now. If you saw the spy pics of the undisguised 2011 Jetta, you'll see that even that car's taillights get a design treatment similar to the ones on the international Polo...

To maintain the stylistic resemblance to the Polo hatch, and to keep costs down.Besides, twin circular LED tail-lamps like on the Golf/Jetta and the Passat on a compact sedan like the Vento won't just cut it,and would contrast sharply with the edgy rectangular head-lamps.

This looks rather plain jane to me. It could have been a stunned if they had been more innovative with the rear end styling.

However, keep in mind that the design is perfectly harmonious unlike Manza or DZire, which still leads the pack for the most ugly sedan in the country.

This may be one of the cars that I consider in a few months' time, si I have high hopes riding on it.

PS: Don't go by the glossy finish on the interiors, even the Polo had the same finish while on test. VW ALWAYS gets its interior quality right. Can't think of any of their cars which has poor quality interiors. Design is another discussion though.

The conservative safe styling with clean proportionate lines does not look very exciting but this design will age very well.

Remember the Skoda Octavia and Hyundai Accent, these cars never looked exciting but while other cars in the segments like Ikon and Optra look dated now(even with facelifts), these ones still continue with unchanged original design, not many people complain about the same.

I feel VW should have slightly different front end for the Vento, unlike the DZire which shares the same styling with the Swift hatch.
