Well, the New Jetta is not going to look like this from the front anyway. Instead look to the New Compact Coupe concept they showed at Detroit in January for a closer match.

That said, there is no way the vehicle caught testing here is a new Jetta, because it is still doing its rounds in places like the USA. This is the Polo sedan.

Fresh pics of the VW Polo sedan that I caught testing in Chakan, near Pune.

The car looks good but instantly reminds you of a Fiesta. In fact it looks like a blend of Fiesta & Ikon. The car is of the size of Fiesta. The interiors are same as the Polo hatch.

The test car had blue oval logos placed on it, maybe to mislead onlookers.

VW has gone all out on disguising the car as a Ford, they have even attached a fake bumper cladding at the front.

This is a FORD FOCUS SEDAN! Awesome scoop man! It could be that Ford is moving the tooling for the older Focus sedan to India to produce it at a much lower price! What a way to go!

I dont think this could be a Polo sedan as it looks like a Ford, may be Ford is coming out with a new Fiesta.
The front bumper seems like a Figo's.

Nice observation, the whole front bumper is a fit-on to disguise the car.

in the second pic, watch closely at the badge. there is a faint circle on which the blue badge is present. it is to camouflage this car as just another fiesta. . the faint outline of the circle indicates the place where they will put the VW badge. also look carefully how the bumper ends and car begins in the first pic. i am no Sherlock Holmes but this is just my observation.

Dude!! This looks like the new Ford fiesta Sedan, not the Polo..

No company is gonna put other company's logo's on their test cars, to avoid any kind of trademark issues. But then again, you never can tell.

Was it as long as a Civic? 'Coz it looks shorter in the pictures. Also, did you get any interior photographs?

Even if you just had a glimpse of its interiors, did they have a VW badge or just the blue oval?

This is a ford sedan. Could be a facelifted version of Fiesta. Somewhere in our forum I saw the interiors of a Ford, which I liked. This could be the exterior of the same.
Mods, ntrack - wouldn't be appropriate if the title is changed to Ford Sedan than VW Polo Sedan?

Agree with you Caramelo. The circle at the back gives away the possibility of it getting occupied by a VW logo.

That looks like the ford focus sedan.. compare the picture designersf has put up and the spy shot. Its a ford for sure.
But on closer observation the front bumper does not seem to match and the tail lights also look like they've been taped to look like the fiesta's lights..!
