I am trying to find the recent car buying trend by Team-BHPians, not sure whether this poll has been done before. Even if it was done before, this poll addresses the recent trend, say in the past 6 months. I am only including popular models for the sake of keeping the list small and meaningful.

This poll is for people who have bought a new car this year, since Jan 1st 2005. No used cars please. For the sake of keeping the votes honest, it will be a public poll.

does booking with delivery pending tantamount to buying. If yes I booked maruti swift Zxi solid bright red on 29-May-05.

No dude, I am trying to see where people put their money. However I think Swift will be the winner because of the explosive debut eventhough I don't like the looks of it.

Bought a Baleno 4 days ago.Black Lxi.

Had purchased a swift Zxi silver in June beginning.

BTw both cars are not for me. The bigger and the better one is for my Dad. I have to contend with the swift

I bought an Octavia Rider...on 20th March...dont get to drive it a lot...dad uses it all the time.:(

Euro II Baleno, Beam Blue, on 19th Jan...done 7500KM so far.

Looks like the new swift and the vfm Baleno are the leaders so far...(however it's just 21 votes so far)
