The Auto Expo was good fun, though it was organised rather poorly. Got to experience most of the cars, from the SLS to the XJ-L, the R8 and the extremely beautiful 1934 Rolls Royce 20/25 seven passenger sedan. Pics and reports soon.
Great. Waiting for your report eagerly.

A small tribute to legends, from yesteryears. And for this week, the Maruti Eeco has been tried, tested and dusted!

Due to some technical glitches, the recording happens without the channel's logo. And without the logo, i'm forbidden to put it up on the internet. Will figure it out soon.

On the Road featured the Maruti Eeco, and gave extensive tips on bike maintenance this week. And on another topic, here are pics of the S600 Guard from the expo. I think at 6 Crores a pop, it beats the Maybach 62 in being the most expensive car in India. 9 orders have been placed already

Took these today. Quite a nice car. But the angle at which it was parked made videography dificult.

Nice shots buddy, so whats your take on the GT ? is it worth the 65+ Lakh price tag ?(Not considering the fact that it is on a limited run of 100no's). And does it come only in this single shade ?(I wish/Hope not!)

Rear headroom looks pretty tight on the GT, thanks to the sloping roof.

Referring to the S600 Guard,

4300kg!! what the heck is this car made up of??

Woah! 4 tons! That's heavy! I'm sure this S600 can withstand pretty much anything that anyone would throw at it! Would it be used as a Consulate vehicle?

@ EP.

Thanks dude.

The best part of the Gran Turismo are the rear seats. The sloping roof, though a bit intrusive, is better than the claustrophobic rear of the Merc CLS. And to my surprise, they are electrically adjustable! This is one BMW you have to take the rear seat in. And for the ex. showroom price of 63 Lakhs, it seems to be a good deal. Comes with the 3.0 D engine for India. And booking's on a first come first serve basis throughout the country.

The 5 Series GT is quite an attractive car. And considering only 100 will be there throughout the country, it seems like a good proposition. Especially considering the obsession with limited edition stuff. Will post the final set of pics tonight.

And about the S600 Guard, 9 have already been booked, and will be delivered by Nov-Dec this year. Mostly by industrialists. Not bad Eh ?
