Dual airbags are mandatory in the states, not ABS. EU is usually more leniant than the US.

Absolutly correct, Thats why we still have it for the front seats but the rear ones are of no use as hardly anyone sits at the back seat :-)

Hey Ranendra and Technocrat , your alto's looks great. My best wishes for your new car. Do let us all know mileage of your car. My father was thinking about buying a car. I will suggest him this baby. He drives at moderates speeds in city only. Cheers.

also, some guy said 20-22 average without AC on in the city. It sounds unrealistic. Can anyone confirm this ?

Hey Max,

Alto is a nice choice for FE. It better than 800 and is overall a long runer. My bro got Alto Lxi which is just goign to dispose after he had a very bad accident. The car is consistently giving him 20 KMPL.

Though do check this thread for alto FE. Alot of people are sayin 18+.

Here is the pic of his car:

Just got the good news that my brother-in-law has bought yet another Alto (they already had one LX)!.. this time its an LXi (new Model).. so my sister is gonna drive that EPS one, and his husband is gonna drive the older LX.. its a ALL NEW colour: Wine red ... looks stunning..

just goes to show how happy existing owners are with its mileage... (~15-17kmpl)
