Why are most Nissans so ugly?

I'm sure it'll be utilitarian as hell, but not cheap enough to dethrone the likes of the Omni

Nissan NV200 Vanette. Sold in UK as a commercial van, but in other markets as a passenger mover. This is no MPV, rather a proper van

If this is Serena , Then this should be the True Competitor to Innova

nice snaps! Unless the price of this thing undercuts innova (if that's its target) severely, I doubt it's popularity. Innova looks like a lot more 'metal', it has more presence. I dunno, maybe it is it's raised GC that does it.

I don't know how well a 'proper' minivan will fare, but who knows? I can't wait to see the final product! Looks like Nissan want to enter with a bang! This, micra, and rumors about the 370 (I think) launching!

This does look like the NV200 Vanette. If it does go on sale in India, what price will it sell at?

It sells for 1,572,900+ yen in Japan - should equate to nearly 8 lakhs, but then add the 110% and we will not see this on the road, I guess.

This is a nice MPV and has a HUGE potential in the Indian market.

If they manufacture this here they should target a price of 9 - 11 lacs pitting it against the Innova which is the segment leader and only NISSAN can do so.

Looks like the Indian Market is all set for Nissan - with the small car causing quite a flutter here.

I would say these are all going to be showcased in the Auto Expo.

Looks so very exciting for now Let the car wars begin !!

Also look at the seating options it offers - AMAZING !! Should be an instant hit here with these kind of seats. Chauffer Driven Innovas all around.

It is the NV200 van, the door handles are traditional flap type (dont know the technical term).

Not sure if india has a market for such expensive cargo vans and also as a passenger van it will only be catering to tour operators or for companies to transport their employees.
This could end up being a favourite with the politicians. :-)
