They did the same with their van-like Sigma, too. But I have noticed a couple of them in my town. They were goods carriers though, not passenger vehicles. But important thing is people have bought the vehicles. The whole approach seems to be quite low key. As soon as I knew the Premier Sigma passenger vehicle had been launched (there were a few ads in the newspapers), I contacted their dealer at Kurla. They neither had a test vehicle nor had any specific details other than what the ad specified.

Actually 11/2009 sales are 166653, which is a growth of 66.5%. Disclaimer: 11/2008 figs were very low. On a month on month basis, sales have declined marginally over 10/2009 (festival season).

I wanted to ask a question:

Why is it so hard to find the sales figures of India?
There is an official site of India?

I have published online (Sales of Fiat cars - Immatricolazioni di auto Fiat) all the statistics on the sales of Fiat in the world, but the data for India are the hardest to find ...

Clearly Optra is gone. 5xx Cruze is good sign. Anyway, we need to wait for some more months to see where it stays.

Thanks friend for the data.

tj123 has given out most of the info, but the details of models are still awaited.

The Honda bad news on models except the city may be good news for the indian consumer in the long run as they may be forced to relook at their pricing policy.
