Hyuundai is offering free carpet shampooing or dry cleaning and even carpet replacement for the interoirs of cars damaged by the Mumbai floods. Moreover all spares will be available at a 50% discount.

oh yeah..you bet..hyundai has offered excellent discounts/deals for the flood damaged hyundai vehicles..way to go.. hope other cos.

50% is on MRP and as you know MRPs are some absurd price tags. And 50% is post insurance, for e.g. if a part costs Rs 100 and the insurance company is paying Rs 50 towards it, then Hyundai will offer 50% on the balance Rs 50. Right now any car you take to a Hyundai Service Centre, they start with "ECM will have to replaced most probably" ECM quote is Rs. 16,000/-

Yeah its good gesture shown by Hyundai hope even other manufacturers follow them and help the customers.

It came on some Auto Show on TV that even other companies were doing something like this.
For eg TATA was giving parts at cost price or something.
Even FIAT was offering some services like a helpline and some other stuff.
